We can optionally point multiple domain names at your virtual web site. We normally refer to this service as an "alias" for your web site.

The most common uses for this facility are if you have two or more business or product names, and wish to have them all get to your web site.

Another very useful thing to do is to use multiple domain names for various markets but have them all point to the one web site to minimise your costs (particularly as a short to medium term measure until you develop specific content for different countries).

For example, you may register company.com.au as well as company.com. This allows you to enjoy the benefits of having a .au domain name (e.g. get listed in Australian-only search engines; demonstrate to your Australian customers that you are an Australian company or business with a local presence).

At the same time, you get the benfits of a "global" .com name, namely you're more likely to get business from the US and other countries outside of Australia.

Our normal charge for a web site alias is AUD$6.95 per month. This price comes down considerably with larger number of domains so please contact us for a quote if you have a several domains.

Multiple domains with different content on each

If you have multiple domain names and wish to have different content for each domain name, the cheapest option is a sub-web site of your existing site.

The cost for this is AUD$7.95 per month per additional domain name as above. The disk space and traffic allocations are shared between your various domain names, as is the FTP username and password.

This option can be quite useful for web designers and other people in a role where they are maintaining content on behalf of other people under a number of different domain names, but need a simple and cost-effective way to manage the various sites.

Our monthly fee includes provision of full DNS service for each domain.
